Tucked into a small storefront on 4th Street, Irma's has become the taco stop that Poteet mornings run on. Every tortilla is pressed and cooked by hand, every batch of carne guisada simmers low and slow, and every plate leaves the window with the kind of care you only get from a family-run kitchen.
Regulars say it best: the space is tight, but that's part of the charm. Irma and Louisa greet nearly every customer by name, the picadillo and strawberry lemonade samples keep people smiling in line, and the homemade hot sauce has earned a cult following of its own.
